4th Annual Golden Spatula Appetizer Competition - Rotary World's Greatest Meal to Eradicate Polio

Coming on October 23, 2025 – The fourth annual Golden Spatula Appetizer Competition will be held at Bull Run Tap House in Lewisburg PA from 6 pm to 8 pm to raise money for Polio during World’s Greatest Meal week. Everyone is welcome to join the club in the event. All you need to do is bring your own appetizer of choice to be judged. Tickets are $10 at the door includes 10 votes for your favorite appetizer. Everyone participates with yummy entries. Bull Run is our sponsor. Cash bar is available. The winner is awarded the Golden Spatula to keep until the next year’s competition.

Our guest speaker for the event his year will be Carol Furguson, a Polio survivor. Carol is the founder of the Polio Network – Polio Survivors Serving Others. www.polionetwork.org. She will be joining the event via Zoom to share her story of her lifelong journey with Polio, the support of her family and friends, and her participation with Polio Plus through Rotary International. We are very pleased and excited to meet Carol and share her story of courage.
