Where: Lewes Ferry - Meet at the Lewes Mural outside the front entrance of the Grain
About: We are excited to announce a new Midway walking club to begin after Labor Day!
Starting on September 9th and for the next four Tuesday mornings in September (Sept. 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th) we will be meeting at the Lewes Ferry parking terminal at 9am sharp for an approximate 3-mile loop walk to Cape Henlopen Park Pier. The walk will take a little over an hour to complete. The walk will start and end in the Ferry parking lot, so there is no need to have a Delaware State Park parking pass to join us! Come join your fellow gym members for a little walking and maybe coffee afterwards at Grain on the rocks in the Ferry Terminal.
General Guidance:
- Meet at the Lewes Mural outside the front entrance of the Grain
- The walk departs at 9am sharp
- No four-legged friends allowed, however, feel free to bring your two-legged friends!
- Wear comfortable walking shoes
- Bring water, sunscreen, bug spray...whatever makes you comfortable
- Must sign up through the Midway app (this allows us to communicate any cancellations due to weather)
This walking series may expand to other local areas and extend past September as we gauge the participation level.
