The Scoonie Graveyard Survey

Join us in uncovering Methil’s hidden histories!

On 22nd November (10am–2pm), the River Park Archaeologists will be at Scoonie Cemetery for a hands-on Graveyard Survey.

We’ll be photographing, documenting, and GPS-mapping the oldest headstones — helping preserve their stories for the national record and exploring connections to Methil’s past, including an 18th-century burial linked to Methil Mill.
