• Able Noise
Able Noise is het project van bariton-gitarist George en drummer Alex, twee experimentele muzikanten die in Den Haag en Athene wonen. Het duo richt zich op de energie en onvoorspelbaarheid van de live-ervaring, waarbij compositie en improvisatie, live instrumenten en opgenomen tapes versmelten tot een eigenzinnige sound. Bij Able Noise krijg je het gevoel dat alles 100% live in het moment ontstaat, en de magie tussen George en Alex is ronduit ontroerend. Hun debuut LP High Tide werd uitgebracht op 1 november 2024 via het Londense label World of Echo.

Able Noise is a project composed of baritone guitar player George and drummer Alex, two experimental musicians based in The Hague and Athens respectively. The duo focuses on the energy and unpredictability of the live experience, fusing composition and improvisation, live instruments and recorded tapes into a sound of their own. With Able Noise, you get the feeling that everything is created 100% live in the moment, and the magic between George and Alex is always very moving. Their debut LP High Tide was released on 1 November 2024 via London label World of Echo.

De experimentele accordeonist Suzan Peeters verkent voortdurend de muzikale mogelijkheden van haar instrument. Ze laat het geklik van de knopjes en het gesuis van de blaasbalg horen, toont de fysieke kracht van het bespelen en vervaagt de grens tussen akoestische en elektronische klanken. Zo creëert ze de illusie van een synthesizer of orkest, maar elk geluid is wel degelijk afkomstig van dit veelzijdige instrument. Suzan Peeters maakt al vele jaren indruk op het podium als solomuzikant of in ensembles, maar brengt nu voor het eerst een album uit bij het Belgische label Blickwinkel.

Experimental accordionist Suzan Peeters constantly explores the musical possibilities of her instrument. She makes all the clicks of the buttons and the hiss of the bellows audible, shows the physical power of the instrument and blurs the line between acoustic and electronic sounds. In this way, she creates the illusion of a synthesiser or orchestra, but every sound actually comes from this versatile instrument. Suzan Peeters has impressed on stage as a solo musician or in ensembles for many years, but is now releasing an album for the first time on the Belgian label Blickwinkel.
