About the event

Jubileumconcert 100 jaar KHVK

Koninklijke Harmonie Volharding Kessel-Lo is het oudste en grootste amateurorkest van Leuven, met zowat tachtig muzikanten van alle leeftijden. Dit jaar viert het orkest zijn honderdste verjaardag.

Klap op de vuurpijl is een galaconcert waarop het orkest onder leiding van Benny Laureyn terugblikt en vooruitkijkt. The Tree of Life van componist Jelle Vansieleghem krijgt bovendien zijn wereldpremière.

De presentatie is in handen van Koen Monserez.
