In this Analog & Alternative Photography Series, you will learn and practice traditional analog fine art photography in a hands-on, creative environment. The course is organized in an atelier-style format, allowing you to work at your own pace while developing both technical skills and artistic confidence.
The series consists of 10 sessions, during which you learn:
-Shooting analog photographs
-Develop your own film
-Print in the darkroom (B&W and Color)
-Participate in guided workshops on both classical and alternative photographic processes
Participants with prior experience in film development or darkroom printing can start working immediately, while beginners will receive instruction and guidance to learn these techniques step by step. The atelier format encourages learning through practice, experimentation, and exchange.
Possible Topics (depending on participants’ interests):
-Analog shooting techniques: use of filters, reciprocity failure, studio work, and more
-Film development
-Black & white analog printing
-Photoshopping and fine art printing in the darkroom
-Analog color printing
-Using Large-format cameras
-Shooting directly on photographic paper
-Analog studio photography
-Anthotype
-Cyanotype
-Salt printing
…and any other analog or alternative techniques participants wish to explore

Enrollment fee: €40 (students) / €60 (non-students)
Duration: 10 sessions
To increase darkroom capacity, one or more Tuesday sessions may be replaced by sessions at an alternative time.
