Calling all rolling ghouls and goblins! Gather your mysterious attire and creep through the city streets of Lethbridge!

Meet at Japanese Gardens Parking Lot

Costumes encouraged! All witches, ghouls and goblins welcome! Flashlight/reflective material recommended.
Weather: This event will be cancelled if there is wet pavement, winds are above 20 km, or if daytime windchill/temperature is below 10C.
Meeting place: Japanese Gardens Parking lot
Roll out by 6:30 p.m.
Skate route:
• Depart from the parking lot using trail heading south toward Mayor Magrath Drive.
• Head north along Mayor Magrath toward Parkside Drive South.
• Turn west at Parkside Drive to travel down the 7 Avenue bike route.
• We plan to skate to 11 Street before turning back. You may choose to turn back early if you wish
• Flashlight/reflective material recommended
We will be skating on the 7 Avenue road, which is a 30 km zone! Route is approximately 4.5 km. Protective gear recommended. Get crafty with your helmet and show off your creepy style!
Here’s what to expect!
• This is a meandering-pace skate - slowish, but fast enough to look like we’re a bunch of ghouls out to cause mischief
• The majority of skate is on a 30 km/hr roadway. When vehicles approach, slow your pace, yell “car” to alert other skaters, move to the side of the road, wave at the civilians.
• Approach intersections with caution
• Reflective material, lights encouraged
• Cackle
