Exploring Traditional Métis Teachings thru Dot Art (Workshop)

Exploring Métis traditional teachings through dot art—honouring culture, storytelling, and connection to the land through creative expression. Participants are invited to reflect, learn, and celebrate Métis heritage while engaging in hands-on art inspired by traditional knowledge and community sharing.

Métis Dot Art is a modern interpretation of the historic floral beadwork for which the Métis are renowned. Traditionally, floral designs were hand-beaded onto clothing, sashes, and everyday items, often inspired by the plants, animals, and landscapes around them.
