Our Creative Project Manager, Kathryn Gordon, will go over the Visual Arts and Crafts Makers Award (VACMA) fund, a nationwide fund that Shetland Arts distributes from Creative Scotland. VACMA offers fixed bursaries of £500 and £1,000. The purpose of these bursaries is to support visual artists and craft makers in their creative and professional development.
This session will go over the questions in the application form, including sharing some ideas of what VACMA has covered in the past.
Kathryn will be joined by Daniel Clark from Gaada who will share how the fund can be used to access the Toogs Artist Workshop, resources and equipment, and Kathryn will share some ideas of other possibilities of what the fund could be used for.
Please note: These sessions are free, but booking is required to secure your space.
