So at the end of 2025 we got chatting, put our rock and roll brains together, and we said...
2026..... Let's try something to really rock the boat...
...So we decided to do a takeover of the Lerwick Boating Club, fill the place with some amplifiers, gather a bunch of folk and make a night out of it!
We also thought we could do our bit to support the next generation of rockers. It means a lot to us that young folk are gearing themselves up and carrying the torch. (I promise you, we ain't speaking about ourselves ;) )
So we are delighted to introduce Razorheat to open the night.
These guys put on one heck of a show in their last outing. We're really buzzing to share the stage with them again. With their mix of rock, pop and indie, their set has something for everyone.
Vagabond have pitched in, promising us a night of devilry and revelry. Grungy originals meets fast paced rock and roll in their cauldron of sludge and thunder.
Then ourselves in Stone Oak Prophecy will look to grab 2026 by the halyards and play some original songs, some of which were written a few days ago. We're looking forward to mixing it up with a bit of rock and classic heavy metal.
So....we invite you to gather in Lerwick's finest of clubhouses for an eclectic evening of original music, covers and good company!
This event will act as a fundraiser for the club, as we have a few repairs to action, and possibly.....a new boat, so all proceeds from the door will go to Lerwick Boating Club and the club thanks you in advance for your support! ;)
We'll also be putting out some donation buckets for mental health charities. Winter can be a tough time for many, and so we want to do something good to raise a bit of support for the fantastic work those charities do day in and day out for those who need an ear and those that silently struggle.
We're keeping entry to £5 on the door, so we are hoping many of you can make it out and enjoy a great roster of rock bands.
