MorningStar wouldn't be what it is without YOU. Maybe you're jumping in for your first visit to MorningStar, or you're a long time visitor -- either way, we will welcome you with much gratitude and open arms! While this is a "work day," it's always a good time to gather in community, be in nature, and get a closer look at the land.
We would love to have you join us for a fall cleanup! We'll be clearing leaves around the cabins and trails, cleaning gutters, and ensuring woodsheds and kindling bins are stocked and ready for those cozy wood-stove fires!
Schedule:
9:30: Meet at Morning Glory cabin for work assignments
12:30-1:00: Lunch break at Morning Glory, provided by the board
1:00-4:00: Finish work
What to bring if you have it: Hydration, work gloves, rakes, leaf blowers, camp chair. In addition to a water bottle, bring a travel mug and we'll have warm beverages on hand!
