Come and celebrate the opening of Presteigne’s newest occasional pub for events down at Went’s Meadow.
A Bar Is Born will feature live music, food, a wide selection of ales and other drinks, children’s activities, games and a giant pub quiz.
This family event will include live music from Presteigne’s Home of the Free and Broken Brass, a fantastic seven-piece band from the Netherlands.
Loose Baker, our compere for the day, will be roaming the site organising games and challenges and at 5pm will be leading the Pub Quiz in the Barn. The quiz will feature 6 rounds of questions from wide ranging categories and team numbers can be from 2-6 people.
Bar and fantastic food from Cat’s Kitchen, Lockdown Dhaba and Sheep Music Tea Shack.
Kids activity area - to include: Diablo / Sock poi / Staff and Juggling clubs / Sacks + Fire juggling / poi in the evening. Plus arts activities.

Sheep Music would also like to thank the National Lottery Community Fund for grants towards the new Bar/Store, a joint project between the Town Council and Sheep Music, and the new PA system.
We will need volunteers - The main areas you can get involved in as a volunteer are listed below:

· Taking down site
We are reliant on volunteers from the local area to make this event happen. We hope that you will be willing to give up some of your time.
