Jen has been kicking this idea around for a while now, and it's time to start making it happen! The shop will hold special hours on a special night, one or two times a month, catering to "crafters" with a portable hobby, that just want to chill in a different setting than their usual craft room. Knitters, crocheters, fiber arts, cross-stitch, embroidery, sewing, drawing, writing, scrapbooking, you get the idea.
We will not be offering classes or lessons on how to do anything. If this idea takes off, and I have people that want to organize a teaching event, we'll see about helping make that happen.
Limited menu will be offered, or bring your own snackage if you like.
Our shop is designed for dimmer "mood lighting", so feel free to bring neck lamps or portable lighting if you need it.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING CRAFTS WITH GLITTER, or if you do, be very respectful and clean up after yourself! There's a long running joke about glitter in the shop, and it's just a mess to deal with for months after events and parties. (yes, I'm still cleaning up from the New Year's Eve Sparkle Party because I broke my own rule.....)
