Oil Painting Class - Introduction to Oils

Come join us at The Lonesome Dove for a fun and informative class where you can learn the basics of oil painting. We will be painting a sunset landscape inspired by our Big Sky of the Great Plains. Wheather you're a beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, this in-person event is perfect for all levels. Olivia Frisvold will guide you through principles, basic oil painting techniques, materials, composition and color mixing theory.

We will have an OPTIONAL continuation of the class on the following day, September 27th from 7pm-9pm. This Additional day will be used to cover the oil painting technique called "wet-on-dry" and "oiling-out". which can only be taught once the painting has dried to the touch

All profits will go to Generosity Coalition for Aid in upcoming mission projects in South Africa.
