Help Us Petition for a New 18 Hole Disc Golf Course in Leland.
Hey friends, we are asking for the greater disc golf community of Leland, Brunswick County, and New Hanover to Show Up and Be Counted once again this Wednesday at 5:45pm at the Parks and Rec Board Meeting in Leland.
The goal here is to let the Parks and Recreation Board know, that there is a huge need for a full 18-Hole course in our area. With thousands of local disc golfers and very few courses, we need the local parks board to understand the value of more places to get out and enjoy the sport we all love. You can help!
We are presenting for 10-minutes to the Parks and Recreation Board and the community at large to support the building of an 18-Hole Disc Golf course off of Kay Todd Rd. A property that would allow for this size of a course, and if done right, would be one we could all be proud of!
If you love disc golf and want to have more courses to play, we need you to prioritize this meeting and pack the house.
