New Chilterns '15 mile' hike - Saturday 6th December

A new beautiful hike in the Chilterns with a mix of gentle hills, forests and canal paths over a 15 mile route. We meet for a 9am start at the National Trust car park close to Ivinghoe Beacon and the route includes Beacon Hill, part of the Ridgeway, the Grand Union Canal, Icknield Way, Ashridge Forest, Moneybury Hill and Pitstone Common.

The elevation is quite low, so although 15 miles in total it should take about 6.5hrs with breaks, so finishing around 3.30pm. A stunning hike any time of the year, with wonderful scenery and fully guided throughout. (Rating 3). £37.50pp for the day. Please book at the website www.themountaincoach.com
