Pennington Flash Masterplan Drop-in

You’re invited to have your input on the exciting future of Pennington Flash! 💬

We’ll be hosting a drop-in session at The Hide Coffee House on Thursday 18 September from 5-7pm, where you can ask questions and provide your feedback on the two concepts designed with the missions of ‘connecting with people, creating wellbeing and supporting nature recovery’ in mind. 💚

Concept 1 focuses on shortening the existing golf course and improving drainage, with the aim of keeping the course open more often throughout the year. We’d also look to boost biodiversity and support nature by introducing new wetland areas.🏌‍♂️

Concept 2 looks to transform the golf course into new wetland and parkland areas, including an education space, nature-themed play areas and family-friendly golf, with income generated reinvested into sustaining the wider park. This concept also involves expanding the nature reserve, planting trees, wildflowers and reedbeds.🌻
