LIFF presents: RoboCop with Nolen GertzAs part of the Days of Art & Science, the Leiden International Film Festival invites you to a special screening of Paul Verhoeven’s iconic sci-fi classic RoboCop.
In the striking Days Tower on Pieterskerkplein, step into the futuristic world of Detroit and follow Alex Murphy, the police officer reborn as a cyborg crimefighter.
The screening will be introduced by philosopher Nolen Gertz, a leading voice in the philosophy of technology and author of Nihilism and Technology. He will explore how films like RoboCop shape our understanding of technology and society, offering a fresh perspective on this cult favorite.
