Target Audience: Healthcare Professionals.
'If physical activity was a drug, we would refer to it as a miracle cure, due to the great many illnesses it can prevent and help treat'. (Chief Medical Officer).
The Active Together Partnership are supporting the health system to integrate physical activity into prevention and treatment pathways. Physical activity is an essential tool in supporting people to live healthier, happier lives. Working across the life course, the Active Together Partnership will deliver targeted physical activity interventions and self-directed opportunities alongside advocacy within the health system to improve people's physical and mental wellbeing.
Healthcare professionals play a crucial role in promoting physical activity and enabling patients to be active. At Active Together, we are here to help empower those professionals to be able to have active conversations and inspire residents to move more.
