A Reading of Dicken’s A Christmas Carol

Kenneth J. Serfass, Historian and Reenactor will do a reading of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol which was published in December 1843. A Christmas Carol was an instant bestseller, followed by countless print, stage and screen productions.
Victorians called it “a new gospel,” and reading or watching it became a sacred ritual for many, without which the Christmas season cannot begin. Presentation will take place at Bethany EC Church in Leesport. Parking in the rear.
