📚 Special Storytime with Author Whitney Lowrey – Everyone Learns Differently

Join us for a heartwarming evening on the MY Play Café - Lee's Summit outdoor patio with Whitney Lowrey, a children’s author who grew up right here in Lee’s Summit! Whitney will be sharing her newly released book, Everyone Learns Differently—a story that celebrates empathy, kindness, and inclusion.

✨ Two Sessions: 5:00 PM & 6:00 PM
✨ Where: MY Play Café - Lee's Summit Patio (bring chairs or blankets!)
✨ What’s Included: Live author reading and Interactive lesson for kids & families

Through the eyes of Jett, a second grader, readers discover that everyone has unique strengths and learns in different ways—making each person special. The story closes with a touching welcome for a new classmate in a wheelchair, leaving us excited for the next book in the series.
