Come along to share your favourite joke, poem, trick, dance, song, anything you like, and get involved in the Haregate panto this Christmas!
Anyone from 5 years to 105 years old are welcome to participate, no rejections, no judgement, just festive fun for the community to share.
We know that the word 'audition' can strike the fear into the bravest of hearts so we would like to give you an idea of what to expect on the day:
-You will arrive to friendly faces, both those from Acting Up! like Felix or Alicia, and also those amazing people that work and volunteer for the Haregate community centre, and be directed to the room we will be using.
- There will be some chairs out for those waiting their turn and also for all their supportive favourite people.
-Felix will support and guide you, encouraging you to share with him and anyone watching your skills, poem, joke, song, in fact anything you would like to show off. This doesn't have to be long! We would encourage your 'performance' to take less than 5mins. There is no stage but we will encourage you to come to the front of the room to share.
- We will clap and cheer when you are done, even if it went wrong, even if you think you looked like a completely silly sausage, we will love it I promise!
-You can either leave after this or you can watch and support anyone else who comes up to the front after you but please make sure that if you want a part in the play you leave your contact details with us before you go!
- If you would like a non performing part, you don't need to audition but please express your interest and leave your details with us during these times.
There will be NO rejections, the auditions are being held purely for fun and for the purpose of matching those interested to roles, please do not worry about not being good enough. You are always enough!
