It's Leechburg's 14th annual Pink Day- and that calls for a pink-a-liscious celebration on the Kiski River!
Join the Kiski Watershed Association for the "Anything That Floats" Pink Day Regatta, September 20th.Float begins at 11 am. Bring your float-worthy craft for a family-friendly 1/2 mile float down the Kiski from the Leechburg Fire Hall to the Canoe/Kayak Launch at Leechburg Riverfront Park. Prizes will be awarded.
All proceeds will benefit the Kiski Watershed Association and their stewardship efforts on behalf of the Kiski River and its tributaries and Pink Day's breast cancer research fund.
Fee: $25/craft preregister on zeffy and $30/craft the day of.(cash only) You can sign up and pay via the Zeffy link on the KWA website. If you choose not to pay via Zeffy, you can pay at the registration table on the day of the event, in cash. Please send email to

Parking: There will be a designated parking area for the Anything That Floats (ATFR) participants near the Leechburg Fire Hall, 268 Canal St., Leechburg PA 15656. Look for signs and/or volunteers.
Registration: 9:00AM to 11:00 AM. You must sign in, regardless of whether you signed up online! All participants must register and undergo a craft examination prior to launching.
Captain’s Meeting: 10 AM
There is a mandatory captain’s meeting at 10 a.m. near the Registration table. You will not be allowed to start the float without attending this meeting.
Float: The ATFR will launch from the Leechburg Fire Department ramp.
The half mile float will end at the Leechburg Canoe and Kayak Launch, river right. LIfe jackets are Mandatory.
Participants are expected to remove their craft from the water and take it up the hill to the Leechburg Canoe/Kayak Access parking area. One member of the crew will be shuttled back to their car.
All craft must be removed from the park as soon as possible.
The committee recommends placing your craft back on your truck/trailer. You will be able to repark at the Leechburg Fire Department.
