• All players (other than Bitty – 1st and 2nd graders) MUST evaluate. All players will be evaluated at the same time, and those players identified as skilled to play on our travel teams will be called back for our Connecticut Basketball Conference (CTBBC) tryouts. We HIGHLY encourage all players to evaluate on October 18th unless there is a major conflict. We tried to accommodate different days of the week for these evaluations and tryouts as we know kids and parents have very busy schedules. If your child is selected to return for the Travel Tryout, and the child attends the main evaluation on October 18th, you will be notified by Monday, October 20th. If you CANNOT attend the October 18th evaluation, you MUST attend on October 30th. Players can still be considered for travel if they attend on October 30th, but this schedule is less ideal for the league and the player. The schedule for all evaluations and tryouts will be as follows:
OCTOBER 15 – 6:30-8:30 PM – 7th and 8th Grade and High School Girls Evaluation and Travel Tryout – Location TBD (The league will communicate with these players for the location before this date).
OCTOBER 18 – General Evaluations – Ledyard Middle School
8:30-10:30 AM – 3rd and 4th Grade Boys and Girls
10-30 AM-12:30 PM – 5th and 6th Grade Boys and Girls
12:30-2:30 PM – 7th and 8th Grade and High School Boys
OCTOBER 23 – CTBBC Travel Tryouts – Ledyard Middle School
5-6 PM – 3rd and 4th Grade Girls
6-7 PM – 3rd and 4th Grade Boys
7-9 PM – 7th and 8th Grade Boys
OCTOBER 24 – CTBBC Travel Tryouts – Ledyard Middle School
6-7:30 PM – 5th and 6th Grade Boys
7:30-8:30 PM – 5th and 6th Grade Girls
OCTOBER 30 – MAKE UP EVALUATION for all players – Ledyard Middle School
5-6 PM – 3rd and 4th Grade Boys and Girls
6-7 PM – 5th and 6th Grade Boys and Girls
7-8 PM – 7th and 8th Grade and High School Boys and Girls
