We're growing in numbers with each shoot, and the next one, our final 3D Archery Shoot for this fall, should be another good one.
It's set for Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025 on our beautiful Marion County Sportsman's Club grounds, located on the backside of Sportsman's Lake in Marion County, near Lebanon, KY.
Competition opens and targets are ready to go at 8 a.m.
Competition scoring ends at 2 p.m.
You may shoot the course at any time during that timeframe...and shoot as many times as you want.
Entrance fee is $10 per archer, and money raised is used to support the Marion County Sportsman's Club.
There are 20 targets spread throughout an approximately half-mile course.
The 3D targets include deer, bobcat, and more lifelike wildlife, including a full size elk.
Most of the course is easy walking, and includes some tougher shots along a trail through woods.
Despite some challenges, this course is perfect for young and beginning archers, women archers and hunters, and hardcore hunters who are trying to keep their skills sharp during hunting season.
The course, with its targets, is also perfect for school archery clubs and shooters.
