The Mashed Swedes Cafe Orchestra return for another year to bring improvised psychedelic dance-scapes to foundry woods – a fabulous chance to dance farewell to the summer amongst the trees as the sun sets.
Come and move your body to the freestyle electro of your local community synth orchestra! We will be creating psychedelic soundscapes from 7pm to 9pm on the 6th of September. Give your summer a farewell outdoor dance at our family friendly after-dinner jam!

This is a free event – please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time so we can manage access to the site

Foundry Wood is an open air woodland site and there are some things you need to consider when you visit.
– Entrance / exit time: As the site will be closed to the public during the show, the gates will be locked 5 minutes before the start, and late entries cannot be admitted.
– People will be able to leave at any time, if required, as volunteers will be on hand.
– Parking and accessibility: Please see the wood’s website here:

– Seating: Some log stump seats and rustic benches are provided, but you may wish to bring camping chairs for extra comfort.
– Clothing: Be aware there’s roots and nettles, so dress for uneven ground and sweeping dance.
– Refreshments: There are no facilities for refreshments at the woodland, other than a drinking water tap, near the entrance. Feel free to bring your own to enjoy before or during the show
– Toilet facilities: There is one eco toilet on-site. Paper and hand sanitiser is provided, but you may wish to bring your own as well.
– The sun will go down while we play so pack a torch to find your way back out!
– Under 16s to be accompanied by and adult.
– Smoking or vaping is not permitted in or near the performance area.
– No alchohol to be consumed on site
