Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season. It focuses the believer's heart on remembering Christ's sacrifice, repentance, prayer, confession, and spiritual renewal over the 40 days before Easter. We will have special family services with music, scripture reading, meaningful reflection and the administering of ashes. We use ashes from past Palm Sundays for this deeply meaningful act of worship. The primary focus is strengthening our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Ash Wednesday and the Lenten season are an excellent opportunity for each of us to deepen our connection to God through practical and purposeful acts of worship. We will redeem the ritual and reveal the relational aspects of Ash Wednesday and the Lenten season.
