H-GAC Traffic Safety Taskforce Public Meeting Dec. 3

The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is hosting an open-house style public meeting for League City residents on Wednesday, December 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Civic Center.

H-GAC is leading a regional Safety Action Plan with a clear goal: help communities reduce severe crashes and make every day travel safer for everyone. This plan looks at regional trends and identifies practical strategies that support safer streets for drivers, walkers, bicyclists, and anyone moving through our communities.

As part of the regional effort, League City is working with H-GAC to prepare a chapter that reflects our local conditions and priorities.

This process builds on League City’s strong focus on roadway safety by taking a fresh, data-informed look at where improvements can make the most impact. The plan is intended to guide future projects and help strengthen the safety of our transportation network.

Residents are encouraged to participate, learn more, and share feedback as this League City chapter is developed.
