Step-by-Step Art Experience with Corey Barksdale

Led by professional Atlanta-based visual artist Corey Barksdale this interactive session will walk participants through the process of creating a personal piece of art. No experience required! Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned creative Corey will guide you through:

1. Introduction to Materials – Get familiar with brushes canvas and color mixing.
2. Laying the Foundation – Sketching your composition.
3. Adding Color & Texture – Step-by-step painting techniques.
4. Creative Breakthrough – Learn how to personalize your work using symbols text and emotion.
5. Reflection & Sharing – A brief moment to showcase your artwork and discuss what it represents.

All materials will be provided. Just bring your creativity!
