This year we’re going to give the community a chance to meet the hardworking and talented local artisans, trades people, contractors, and others who can take on all those jobs that are too difficult or time-consuming to DIY. On September 27th at the Eastern Shore Community Centre, we are holding the very first Eastern Shore Home Show. We are only inviting businesses that are local to the Shore.
We already have a ton of great local businesses lined up for the event including our presenting sponsor, TreeTop Solar. Others include Randell Brothers Gutters, J R Cragg Roofing, Panoramic Windows, UtMa HPS Ltd, SP Designs, Jessica George with Billyard Insurance, Raya Sunshine, Spray Foam Squad, Live2Design, Trusty Maintenance, Priority 1 Renovations, Wise Cracks and David Clarke Mortgage Broker with The Mortgage Group.
We want to make this show accessible to every person in the community, so there will be no charge for entry into the event. We have incredible donations from local businesses in the community, and door prizes will be drawn throughout the day. Food and drink vendors will be on site, and I’m sure our participating businesses will have lots of free swag on hand, like other home shows you’ve been to. The biggest difference here is that you’ll be able to connect with contractors, designers, artisans, and trades people who live and work right in your own backyard, keeping your money in our community (and maybe finally getting a hand with that project you’ve been putting off for way too long).
