Volunteer nights at Lawrence Community Orchard

September is the month where we get to taste the most kinds of fruit! If you join us on volunteer nights, mondays 5:30 to 7:30 pm, we can give you a hands on tour of orchard treats. Jujubes, figs, paw paws, persimmons, apples, pears and autumn olives are among the fruits ripening this month.

Lawrence Community Orchard is located at 830 Garfield street in east Lawrence, Ks. When volunteering please park cars on Delaware street. Bring some water, gardening clothes, and a snack to share if you want. We look forward to seeing you at the orchard!
