"Lion of Zion" Movie Screening & Q & A with Yuri Foreman

Please join us on Sunday morning, Novemeber 16, 2025, at 10:30 at Temple Israel, Lawrence, for a screening of the movie "Lion of Zion," followed by a Q & A session with the star of the film, Yuri Foreman.
Yuri Foreman is the only World champion boxer from Israel, and he believes that balancing faith and fortitude can lead to greatness. After losing his title in 2010, he studied Judaism to understand the connection between his boxing pursuits and his spiritual quests. In 2014, he was ordained as a Rabbi. Despite being past his prime as a boxer, Yuri was not done with the ring and strove to make history by becoming the first Rabbi boxing champion of the world.
The film, directed by Mike Musikanto, is 32 minutes in length. A light bagel breakfast will be served from 9:15-1015, and the program is open to the public and Free of charge.
