Art in the Park is a juried fine art and fine craft event held in beautiful shade-filled South Park (12th and Massachusetts) on the south end of vibrant downtown Lawrence, Kansas.
125 artists booths, 12 Bands and a wide variety of sweet and savory food trucks will be set up for this two day event!

Art in the Park is a Lawrence tradition dating back to 1964 and is the Lawrence Art Guild's premier fundraising event. Winning "Best Event" 5 times since 2019 as voted by the public in the "Best of Lawrence" contest, Art in the Park is a Lawrence favorite. 2024 will be our fourth year as a two day event with over 20,000 visitors expected. Thirteen musical groups fill the park and food vendors provide a wide variety of sweet and savory options.
Lawrence will also have a sneak peek of their artwork in the Phoenix Gallery sponsored "Art in the Park Preview Show.” With an opening reception to be held during Lawrence's Final Friday on August 29th.
The Lawrence Art Guild is a not-for-profit organization with a mission to support local artists and promote art in the community and provides workshops, exhibits and show opportunities for its members. Due to the proceeds made at Art in the Park, the Lawrence Art Guild has donated over $30,000 to local high school art programs over the past five years.
The deadline for artist applications was May 31st. All applications are taken through Zapplication, an online application service. All posts stating that there is space are scams.
