Our 4th Annual Carnegie Color Crawl is back and brighter than ever! Join us on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 5:30–6:30 PM for this fun, family-friendly color run that brings our community together for a great cause.
This charitable event supports the Friends of the Lavonia Library and non-profit CDH Foundations helping fund both local library initiatives and vital advocacy and support for families affected by Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). CDH is a serious birth defect in which a baby’s diaphragm does not fully form, allowing abdominal organs—such as the stomach, intestines, and liver—to move into the chest cavity and impact lung development.
Every step, splash of color, and smile during the Color Crawl helps raise awareness and make a real difference. Come walk, jog, or cheer along—just be ready to get colorful while supporting causes that truly matter.
Register at the library! It's $30 to run, and when you sign up you get guaranteed a shirt for the run. To sponsor the run, it's $50.00 or more to register to run as well as get your name on the shirt!
