Artist Katie Barron and Saint John Craft Beer have teamed up to create Wobble, a journey through the weird and often wonderful world of retro-inspired jellied delights.
Explore a new series of photo-realistic oil paintings by artist Katie Barron, exploring the colourful and often unsettling cuisine that is jelly. Whether you love it or hate it, there's something about a trembling jelly mould that is completely captivating.
Chef Sam Pinkard at Saint John has taken on the creative brief and come up with a series of boundary-pushing jellied delights, which will be served to attendees.
For full immersion into this wibbly wobbly good time, mid-century retro apparel is encouraged in honour of the greatest age of jelly-making.
This project was made possible by the Australian Government's Regional Arts Fund, which supports the arts in regional and remote Australia, as well as a Launceston City Council Small Events Sponsorship grant.
Registration is required to ensure all attendees get to sample the delicious jellies. Tickets will be limited and available in early January.
