ALL CLASSES are SINGLE PHASE, with the second half of the course timed.

All classes are open for Teams – 3 or 4 riders competing as individuals, best 3 scores to count.
For Team entries please enter all individuals online then Team Managers to email team declarations to the
Secretary, bmlja3lhbGZvcmQ3NiB8IGdtYWlsICEgY29t no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 23rd December.

Entry Fees: £15.00 for all classes.

Times and Numbers will be on the Pony Club Results website by 12pm on Wednesday 24th December

Please Note: A clearly printed competitor number in a number bib (no bridle numbers) MUST be visible at all times in the warm up arenas. Numbers can be printed from PCR.

Riders/horses are welcome to dress in the festive spirit as long as tack and clothing are deemed SAFE by the tack check steward, and are unlikely to spook other horses! but a reminder that necklaces and bracelets (other than medical) must be REMOVED for safety reasons. Jewellery is not recommended and, if worn, is done at the risk of the rider/their parent/guardian.

In the event that the competition has to be cancelled all entries will be refunded minus a £2 admin fee.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
• Tack and Hat check at indoor warm up arena – All riders must have the current pink hat tag and a spur tag, if spurs are worn by a PC member.
• Teams will be of three or four riders, best three scores will count
• LEAD REIN RIDERS - must remain on the lead rein at all times whilst in the ring including entering and leaving the ring and whilst warming up.
• ASSISTED RIDERS – This means someone in the ring with the rider, but not touching the pony, and not jumping the jumps.
• One competitor may ride no more than two horses/ponies in the same team - each horse/pony may only compete once in a class
• All competitors to report to the collecting ring 15 minutes before they are due to jump for tack inspection.
• Mini Champs guidance for those hoping to qualify. Any combination of horse/rider may not compete at Mini Champs where the height is 20cm lower than that at which they have previously competed. Riders who have competed at Regional Show Jumping or Eventing competitions are not eligible for the Mini Championships. Those rules do NOT apply to competing at this event, but will exclude you from qualification for Mini Champs.
• Classes 1-5: The top Branch/Centre team (not mixed teams) if less than 5 teams are entered, and the top two Branch/Centre teams if 5 or more teams entered, and top three individuals, whether they are in a team or not, at each branch team show jumping competition, will qualify for the Championships at the end of August 2026 at Bicton Arena.
• Results will be posted online at https://www.ponyclubresults.co.uk and alist of Mini Champs qualifiers sent to DC’s.

RULES
Entries are accepted and admission granted only subject to the following conditions and it is a condition of entry that these have been accepted by each competitor.
• All classes will be run in accordance with Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2025. Please familiarise yourselves with current whip and spur rules.
• Health & Safety Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
• Legal Liability Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or their tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. The Judge’s decision is final and any objections must be accompanied by a £25 deposit which will be returned if upheld.
• Horse/Pony must be 4 years or over on day of show
• No rider/horse or pony combination can be ridden in more than 3 classes
• All dogs must be kept on a short lead.
• All droppings/hay/straw to be picked up and taken home.
• Rider’s age as at date of the competition
• Classes will be run as SINGLE PHASE and the second half will be timed
• The Organisers reserve the right to refuse entry without stating a reason and also to eliminate any competitor who in their opinion places themselves or others in danger or fails to observe the rules.
