Rails around the moor

This walk is a moderate 8 miles and being led by Roger.

A circular walk form Prewley Water teatment works road at Sourton cross near Okehampton. We will walk across the moor to pick up the rattle peat works railway track, walk along it to Nodden Gate then down the lane to the Fox and Hounds Pub for a possible quick drink. We will then cross the A386 and Walk down the road to Bridestowe Railway station and back along the granite way to our cars. I will change the route on the day to suit the conditions so the walk may be shorter or longer than the advertised route. Most of this walk will be on gravel or tarmac tracks to avoid lots of mud and bogs with 1.5 miles of moorland. This is an easy side of moderate walk and I can easily make it longer or shorter on the day if the weather is really bad.
