Queer Life Drawing is a safe space for artists and art enthusiasts to come together and explore life-drawing. This is the 3rd Year of Queer Life Drawing hosted by Drag Queen, Enya Arsenal at Sawtooth A.R.I. And is focused on fostering queer art and queer community in Launceston and we couldn’t imagine it any other way. A truly unique opportunity to network with other artists, conceptualise works of art, sketch models with queer bodies, and see different approaches to drawing and sketching.
Hosted by Launceston’s Favourite Auntie and Drag Sensation, Enya Arsenal, this alcohol-free event is for 18+ and a perfect opportunity to work with queer bodies in a safe and respectful environment. Each month, we provide a life-model for 2-hours across multiple poses for you to sketch while exploring light, shadow, line and perspective.
There is no experience necessary. Snacks, coffee and tea will be provided and plenty of small breaks for socialising. Art supplies will be provided, however it is encouraged for avid artists to BYO their own materials that work for them. This will be a fun and unique opportunity.
