Prayer pilgrimage to Yes Tor Dartmoor, near Okehampton, Devon on
Saturday 23rd August to raise vibrations for world peace and healing.
This Pilgrimage is being led by Katherine Armitage – (I don’t have a phone, once I've left home early on 23rd August).
The walk is medium difficulty, rocky, stepping stones across a stream and not suitable for pushchairs.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

We will leave The Wetherspoons White Hart at 12.30pm
From there we’ll make our way by car to a parking spot, on a track, close to Yes Tor. There is limited parking, so we'll aim to share cars. The walk is just over one hour to the top.
There is a station in Okehampton so it is possible for you to travel by train as long as you reach Wetherspoons by 12 midday.
Taking part in this kind of pilgrimage is inspiring for those who would like to act in a positive way for our world.
It is also an opportunity to meet and spend time with other like-minded people.
We will be using ‘dynamic prayer’ to send out spiritual energy for peace, and to specific areas of the world in need which have been affected by war, natural catastrophe, etc, we use prayers called The Twelve Blessings.

Preparation & what to bring:
On Dartmoor the weather can change rapidly.
Wear mountain/walking boots (not trainers nor wellington boots as the terrain is rocky) and bring warm and waterproof clothing (water proof trousers are essential) , including gloves & warm hat as we will be standing and praying for about an hour, on the top.
Walking poles are also useful for uneven steep ground.
A decent waterproof pack to carry extra warm clothes is a good idea.
Bring energy bars/snacks and water, a small flask with a warm drink.
Ensure you have a level of fitness for the walk on Dartmoor .
Do bring your friends.

Sunday 23rd November Brown Willy, Bodmin Moor,– meet from 10.30am Rough Tor car park - follow Tregoodwell lane from the main Camelford road.
We also hold pilgrimages to Holdstone Down, Exmoor, North Devon, most Sundays, when we are in Combe Martin. This hill is very accessible, only 5 minutes walk from the car park.
