Heritage open days at Buckland Abbey

Explore the Abbey, gardens and estate at Buckland Abbey for free as part of Heritage Open Days. Follow over 700 years of footsteps; from the Cistercians who built the Abbey and farmed the estate, to seafarers Grenville and Drake who changed the shape of the house and the fate of the country.

Friday 12 to Sunday 21 September, 10am-5pm.
Booking not required.
Accessibility - Level terrain to garden, estate walks have some steep routes with steps and uneven surfaces. The ground floor of the Abbey and exhibition room is accessible. Wheelchairs are available to borrow, volunteer buggy service available and Tramper available to book. Full accessibility guide is available on the website.
