Brad Gillies @The Oak

Brad Gillies is back where it all started, in Launceston @The Royal Oak Hotel, for an evening of rocking, swampy, upbeat blues music. Singing songs of redemption, love, lust, loss, excessive consumption and much more. Heavily inspired by the likes of Ash Grunwald, Guthrie as well as the early delta and Chicago scenes, Gillies brings a predominantly guitar riff driven, full sound especially for just a solo musician, with at times uplifting lyrics looking at the consolations in life.
