Rob Corcoran
On Sunday 5th October we welcome Dublin troubadour Rob Corcoran, a much respected figure on the roots scene in London and beyond. His lyrically compelling songs are drenched in Celtic soul, drawing from the same deep wells that serve Van Morrison and Mike Scott so well. Present too is a strong thread of influence from the heart-on-sleeve poetry of John Prine and Leonard Cohen.
Irish folk legend Christy Moore has recorded a cover of Rob's song ‘Ringing That Bell’ and it features as a key song in his current touring set.

A FEW THINGS TO NOTE:
• PLEASE arrive by 6 ready for a 6.15 start
•This is a Pass The Hat event. In other words - there isn't a ticket price, but we do expect a generous donation. We suggest a donation of £12 per person. Having said that, to avoid our events becoming elitist, our ethos has always been 'pay what you can afford'. Please bring cash on the night.
• There will be delicious homemade food available to buy @£12.50 per person from Philippa on the night. Please bring card or cash. (Please make sure you give us food preferences for each guest IN ADVANCE), or you can bring your own snacks.
• Booking is limited to 4 per order - contact us if you'd like to book for more
• BRING YOUR OWN DRINK - THERE IS NO BAR! and PLEASE TAKE YOUR EMPTIES HOME.
• It will really help us if you bring your own glasses, plates and cutlery so that nobody is having to wash up 30-60 settings when we're done! :-)
