1. Team Tournament. One or Two people per boat. A child 14 and under may also join a team of
2 adults. All team's members must be in the same boat. Anyone can enter the tournament. $60
per team. $20 for Big Crappie Pot.
All teams must take off at W bridge boat ramp on Smithville Lake, as we will be doing a LiveWell check. All teams must check in to receive a number for takeoff position.
3. A team cannot weigh more than 5 Crappie and those must be alive when entering the weigh in line. Any team presenting more than 5 Crappie will be disqualified. Dead fish will not be counted or weighed. The Tournament committee has sole responsibility for the declaration of dead or alive Crappie. Cash Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners.
4. No size limit on Fish that can be weighed in. All fish MUST be caught on Smithville Lake.
5. Live and artificial baits may be used.
6. Fish must be caught on a pole and line. NO SNAGGING or POOLING OF FISH between teams. There is no limit to number of poles or baits per person. Any team caught cheating will be disqualified
7. Teams may start fishing (line in water) anywhere on Smithville Lake. Tournament hours are
6am - 2pm
8. All the team's members must be present at the time of weigh-in and during fishing tournament hours. All teams must start and stop fishing at the same time.
9. Big fish pot: only one big fish entry per boat. Team must designate big fish entry at time of weigh in. Big fish will be determined by the heaviest weight.
10. Missouri State boating and fishing regulations must be followed.
11. Fishing license, boating license and launching fees are the responsibility of each angler.
12. In the event of a tie, a big fish will determine the winner.
13. No one can be hired or compensated in any way to fish with you or mark your spots for you prior to tournament and any time.
14. Sportsmanship, courtesy and safety are expected from each angler.
15. Tournament hours are 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. All boats must have their number chip turned in by 2:15 p.m. to Qualify. There are no exceptions. Weigh-ins will begin at 2:30 p.m. GOOD
