Treatment and Meditation: An 8-Week Journey in Daily Spiritual Practice
This 8-week class is designed to deepen your connection with Spirit through the two cornerstone practices of the New Thought tradition: Spiritual Mind Treatment (affirmative prayer) and Meditation. Together, these practices open the heart, focus the mind, and align you with the infinite Presence that guides and sustains all of life.
Each week, we will explore the foundations of prayer and meditation as spiritual tools, while also practicing them together in class. You’ll learn how to:
- Understand and apply the five steps of Spiritual Mind Treatment to affirm Truth, release limiting beliefs, and claim your good.
- Practice a variety of meditation techniques—including mindfulness, guided imagery, and silent sitting—to quiet the mind and expand awareness.
- Develop a consistent daily practice that brings greater peace, clarity, and spiritual empowerment.
- Integrate treatment and meditation into real-life situations, using them to navigate challenges, make decisions, and nurture your inner life.
- Cultivate presence and receptivity so that inspiration, healing, and guidance flow naturally.
By the end of the class, you will have created a personal rhythm of practice that supports you in living more consciously, joyfully, and powerfully in alignment with Spirit. This course is suitable for beginners as well as those wishing to deepen their spiritual practice.
