The Brain Science Behind Vroom and Vroom’s Brain Building Tools

Learning Summary: Participants will reinforce their knowledge of early brain development and the science behind the national Vroom initiative. Participants will also develop a deeper understanding of how brain building strategies are easily embedded into Child Care Resources and Referral (CCR&R) outreach and services.

Learning Outcomes:

1 . Learners will identify new ideas gained for sharing with families.

2 . Learners will name one of Vroom's three scientific principles and describe it.

3 . Learners will name one executive function skill and explain how it helps young children.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three-question quiz or test at the end of each training.
