Bicycle Friendly Community Workgroup Formation Meeting

Velo Cruces is proposing a partnership with the City of Las Cruces to create a Bicycle Friendly Community Workgroup. The intent is to enhance bicycle-friendly infrastructure and improve overall walkability within the community. The group aims to take tangible steps and improve communications and collaboration between all Active Transportation stakeholders. The group will integrate BFC program framework alongside recognized best practices for bicyclist and pedestrian safety and walkability improvements.

Your participation is needed! Please attend, and send others with similar goals, to this meeting where we will decide to move forward and what steps will be needed. The goal is to show that there is community support and need for improved traffic safety for all roadway users, with emphasis on bicyclist and pedestrian needs.
