Join us in the historic Schoolhouse for a storytime that blends reading, science, and creativity! We’ll start with Betsy the Brazilian Bat, read by our Curator of Education, Ms. Hannah. This interactive tale has a hide-and-seek element, teaches important lessons, and features Betsy — a bat kids are sure to love! Afterward, enjoy a mini-lesson on fractals, then dive into our Fractals Immersion Exhibit using VR headsets. Hands-on fun continues with soap painting and themed crafts inspired by the story. Designed especially for ages 4–10, this program is also wonderful for all ages. Younger children will love the playful story and activities, while older kids and adults can explore the deeper science connections.
