About the event

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

Please join us as we honor and pay tribute to the victims and their families of the 9/11 attacks, as well as recognize the valiant heroism of our first responders.

This remembrance ceremony will take place on Thursday, September 11 at 10:30 a.m. (EDT) at The Plaza at The Palms of Largo.

The Largo Police Department Honor Guard will announce the presentation of colors and children from The Learning Center, located at Cypress Palms, will lead everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Representatives from the Commissioner’s Office, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department, Largo Fire Rescue, and Sunstar will be in attendance. There will also be music by Steve Walker and refreshments available.
