Taste of Lapeer

Lapeer Area Citizens Against Domestic Assault (LACADA) will be hosting its 32nd annual “Taste of Lapeer” fundraising event, Thursday, October 9th at 5:30pm at the Lapeer County Club located at 3786 Hunt Rd.
During this exciting charitable event, guests can sample amazing delicacies from many of the great local restaurants while enjoying a fun-filled live auction featuring local auctioneer, Brian Rowley. This auction is full of many unique and extraordinary items, such as concert tickets, Broadway show tickets, weekend getaways, hunting & sporting events, spa and beauty packages along with jewelry and much, much more. This event is one not to be missed!
All proceeds raised by this event go directly to LACADA to pay for the operational costs in providing safe shelter and supportive services to survivors of domestic and sexual assault and their children. These crucial services include safe shelter, a 24hr. Helpline, crisis Intervention, support groups and personal advocacy. LACADA provides all shelter and supportive services free of charge and ensures that all services are confidential.
