Lansing Reads Banned Books: A Community Read-In

Banned Books Week is October 5-11! We’re hosting a community read-in at A Novel Concept on Tuesday, Oct 7, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

No frills, no fuss, just a chance to sit with us while you exercise your freedom to read and connect with other readers. Join us for as long as you’re able, and feel free to come late or leave early. Just remember to bring a banned book with you: a longtime favorite, one that's new to you, or anything in between.

Interested in joining but not sure where to start? Swing by anyway and we'll help you find something that resonates. We’ll have tea and cocoa on hand, but feel free to BYO snacks, and headphones in case you want to read with no distractions!
